Setup & everyday use.

Everything below reflects the current release (v1.1.0). Install to first identified companies is typically under ten minutes — identifications appear as business visitors arrive.

Before you start

You need WordPress 6.0+ on PHP 7.4+, an administrator login, and the plugin zip plus licence key from your purchase email. Installation never touches your theme or content.

Setup, step by step

  1. Install the plugin

In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip from your purchase email, install and activate. Run one edition only. The plugin appears in your admin menu as B2B Intelligence.

  2. Enter your licence key

Open Settings and paste your key in the Pro licence field. Unlicensed, reports and exports pause; tracking data is kept safe.

  3. Add your KickFire API key

In Settings, paste your KickFire key and use the Test lookup tool to prove it works (try your office IP). The key is stored server-side and never appears in anything a visitor can see.

  4. Set credit protection

Choose your daily lookup cap and the re-check windows for identified and unidentified IPs. The per-IP cache means each visitor costs at most one lookup per window.

  5. Set retention and branding

Pick how long visit history is kept (rollups survive the purge), and add your report branding: name, logo, accent colour, footer line.

  6. Let it identify

Visits are logged immediately; bots, private IPs and your own logged-in team are skipped. Companies appear on the dashboard as business visitors arrive and resolve.

Everyday use

The screens you'll actually live in.

The dashboard

Time ranges (today/7/30/90d), stat tiles, and the company table: name, location, size, visits, pages, last seen and identification confidence. Click any row for the full route and profile.

Journeys & profiles

The expanded row shows the timestamped page route with external referrers, plus the full firmographic profile — employees, revenue, SIC/NAICS, address, phone, socials.

Filters & exclusions

ISP/consumer matches hidden by default. The industry dropdown (left of search) filters by SIC classification. Optionally hide search engines & big tech in Settings — with a per-view include toggle. Tick Exclude in future on any company to remove it from the dashboard and future snapshots; "Show excluded" reverses it.

Reports & export

Weekly and monthly rollups are stored automatically. Export any period as a branded A4 PDF or CSV with full firmographics from Reports & Export.

For agencies

Brand the reports as your agency and deliver them to clients — which companies visited, what was identified, which pages did the work.

Privacy posture

Business-level intelligence, not consumer identification: server-side lookups only, configurable retention with auto-purge, consumer/ISP filtering. Review your own privacy notices for your jurisdiction.
